While Focus Capital has always attracted the top minds in Wall Street Technology, Jeremy Gerson has focused primarily on full-stack development, data science, data engineering, and DevOps cloud infrastructure recruiting for startups and growing organizations, both in and out of fintech.
Most recently, Jeremy successfully partnered with a tech-forward financial organization to staff their data science engineering team in an upstart satellite office, built a team of technical business analysts and developers to re-architect technologies in an acquisition involving the world’s top financial software firm, and led the data science / engineering and DevOps hiring efforts for a niche pharmaceutical firm which was completed in an approx. 120 day period.
Jeremy is able to accomplish these goals by making an effort to thoroughly understand the technologies which encompass each company and its unique roles within the organization. Conversely, Jeremy recognizes that the practice of recruiting has become much more complacent and many recruiters spend little if any time getting to know the candidates they work with, their skills sets, and personas.
